As the Pioneer and First manufacturer in Malaysia, SolarMate had advocated stringent standards in the manufacture of the Solar Water Heater, for product durability and reliability, and the safety of the users. The standards we have advocated are the use of thick-wall stainless steel (1.2 mm thick, minimum)  for the pressurized solar storage water tank (for durability); tested to over 10 bars pressure (for safety and durability); be mechanically welded (for greater reliability), and with stainless steel dish-ends of 1.5 mm (minimum) ((for safety and durability). All SolarMate, stainless steel solar tanks are guaranteed for 10 years; being highly durable with life spans in excess of 20* years.
